Unilever’s €1bn Nature and Climate Fund includes water conservation projects in water-stressed regions like Indonesia and South Africa. Partnering with the 2030 Water Resources Group and the Alliance for Water Stewardship, Unilever aims to boost water management resilience over the next decade.
As part of this effort, Naked Eye conducted fieldwork in lower-income communities in both these countries. The team gathered insights and observations into people’s everyday lives, their relationship with water in Townships in South Africa and neighbourhoods in water stressed communities in Jakarta.
The team conducted prototype testing sessions with individuals in the field and presented insights at workshops with Unilever’s Commercial, Global Insights and R&D teams.
